Kendall Square Research, Inc. Launches its Energy Saving Commercial Light Division
LAS VEGAS, July 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Kendall Square Research, Inc. (Pink Sheets: KSQR) announces the launch of its high efficiency lighting division.  The commercial lights would save annual energy costs by 50% compared to the standard lights (mercury and sodium based) now in use for city street lights, tennis courts, parking lots, building night lights, etc.

Magnalight.com Adds 70 Watt HID Light for Vehicles, Equipment and Boats
Larson Electronics Magnalight adds a 6250 lumen HID spotlight, the HID-6670, to its range of 12 volt and 24 volt lighting for vehicles, boats and equipment. Offering lower amp draw and longer bulb life than high wattage halogen and quartz lights, the 70 watt HID light offers more illumination than 35 watt or 50 watt HID lights in the Magnalight 6600 series of HID lights.

J. Scott Shaw: Lobby for lighting ordinance
Tuesday night, the Athens-Clarke County Commission passed a crummy light ordinance. A comprehensive, effective "full loaf" ordinance, based on those of many other towns across America, had been reduced to a pile of crumbs by the planning commission. At Tuesday's meeting, Commissioner Kelly Girtz proposed a "half a loaf is better than none" compromise, but that was voted down.
